L'Antidote

L'Antidote. Your antidote to the ordinary. Built from scratch.

Minimal Mind Studio

A French chef, years of experience in other people's kitchens, finally opening his own restaurant in Dole, France. Jose came in with a clear vision and nothing to show for it yet — no website, no brand, no visual presence. He'd taken over a space from a previous owner and wanted to make it entirely his own. We built the whole thing from scratch: brand identity, typography system, colour palette, and a bilingual website that does the work of drawing people through the door before they've eaten a single thing. The brief was warmth. Gold and slate with a splash of red — earthy, grounded, inviting. New Times Romance as the primary typeface, chosen because a sans-serif would have felt too cold for a restaurant that's anything but. The colour, the type, the photography — all of it designed so that a visitor to the website would walk into the restaurant and recognise it immediately. The digital experience as a preview of the physical one. The site is live, bilingual in French and English, with booking integrated via Octotable. Daily traffic, consistent weekly bookings, and an ongoing monthly retainer for menu updates and seasonal changes. A quiet, steady relationship — which is exactly what good work produces.

He had the vision. He just didn't have the system. We built it.

The brief was simple: make someone feel the restaurant before they've sat down.
